Kob Koon Krup (“Thank-you” in Thai)

Greetings from Thailand – “the Land of Smiles”.  King Bhumibol Adulyadej or King Rama IX, is greatly revered by Thais.  People are very concerned by his fragile health, but it is not readily discussed here out of respect for the King.

The demand for gemstones in India and China is driving much of the activity in the gemstone market.  Prices are strong, but it also means that more material is being cut and there are more goods to choose from.  I have worked hard to find fantastic gemstones I know you will like.  I’m particularly happy with the yellow, pink, and blue sapphires, and the rubies I’ve purchased.

We are committed to being your coloured gemstone supplier of choice by offering superior value, service, expertise and integrity.

That was what I wrote in my postcards I sent from Thailand in late February.  Since then prices for coloured gemstones have continued to strengthen, and I am glad that I purchased as much as I did when I was there. The political tension continues to bubble under the surface in Thailand, and could erupt again in July when a national election is scheduled.

Please don't hesitate to contact us if  you would like to see some of the gorgeous rubies and sapphires I brought back from Thailand this trip.

Best regards,
